Since 1934, Harry & David has been offering some of the highest quality gourmet foods in America.  Throughout the years, Harry & David has delivered quality in its products and with a new corporate team overseeing the stores, a much needed revitalization to the brand was destined.

I was hired as a freelance designer to assist in the creation of their newest store design right outside of Denver, Colorado.  This store was to become their flagship retail store and offer an upscale and sophisticated shopping environment for the loyal customers and bring in a whole new client base to further the brand.

Without the assistance of the corporate design and merchandising team, myself and a small design team created this new store from the ground up. I had the privilege of planning product and furniture placement as well as the finishes from lighting to decorative accessories throughout the store.

The final outcome was well received and the financial numbers proved that the new store design and shopping experience was just what the retail stores needed to hold its place in the retail landscape.  The parent company of Harry & David, 1-800 Flowers, has decided to move forward with this design and has plans to continue this format for its stores.
